To mark World Mental Health Day on 10th October, we held a football tournament at Inspire for our Health Kicks participants!
We had 4 teams and 12 games played in total with our Health Kicks participants who join us weekly on Monday’s and Wednesday’s to get together and play sport to build confidence and gain the mental and physical benefits of being active. We had a great day with lots of games played to celebrate the importance and benefits of taking part in sport to help Mental Health!
Health Kicks is one of our sports programme which offers the opportunity to access regular sporting activity to those accessing mental health services in the Greater Ipswich area aiding rehabilitation and increasing levels of health and self-confidence.
