PDC visit Wembley & play against Arsenal!
Last week, our Player Development Centre (PDC) programme headed off to Islington to play against Arsenal’s Soccer Schools.
Our PDC is an exclusive programme designed to provide weekly advanced coaching to the best young footballers in Suffolk who are not currently in an academy set up. The programme is split into five age groups – U8’s through to U12’s – with training taking place once a week. The programme also allows participants to test their ability and put their elite training into practice against other PDC centres and local clubs, which is exactly what they did last Thursday (1st June) at Arsenal Soccer Schools in Islington.
Each PDC age group played some great football matches against Arsenal’s teams throughout the day in their new Source One sponsored football kits.
Following this, the teams headed to Wembley for a Stadium Tour. As part of this, they walked in the footsteps of the stars such as Frank Lampard and Steven Gerrard down the players tunnel, visited the press room, sat in the chamber rooms and held a replica of the FA Cup!
