Casual Sports Coach (Lowestoft)
This is an exciting opportunity to join the coaching team at one of Suffolk’s most energetic charities. Our client, Inspire Suffolk is committed to using sport to inspire, motivate and educate young people in Suffolk. They are currently looking to add to their coaching team, supporting the delivery of their Turn Up and Play provision at Colville House, in Lowestoft.
The role will be responsible for planning, delivering and developing Inspire Suffolk’s Turn Up and Play activities. The main purpose of the role is to ensure high-quality provision is available and to meet participation targets across all delivery periods, developing new initiatives across Suffolk.
The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications, attributes, and experience:
- Level 1 (National Governing Body) Sports Coaching Qualification.
- Current Safeguarding and First Aid training.
- One years’ experience of working with and/or coaching children.
- The ability to work as part of a team.
- The ability to be organised, communicate well, and also work on their own initiative.
- Hold an enhanced DBS certificate.
Hours of work: 4 hours Minimum – 2 Sessions per week Monday, Tuesday, or Saturday available.
Hourly rate of pay: dependent upon experience and qualifications.
Basis: The role is initially offered on a casual contract basis but initially would be for 4 hours a week – which is broken into 2 sports Sessions per week Monday, Tuesday evenings, or Saturday morning shifts available.
