Join us for a festive period rich with good food, good laughs and good times!

This year we’ve teamed up with The Cooking Experience’s top chefs, Marko and Annie, to bring you three unique cooking experiences you won’t forget any time soon! Each experience will be live on Zoom so you can join the fun, as it happens.

The first experience, Stir Up Friday, is an interactive workshop, where you’ll cook along to create your very own Christmas Cake, Christmas Pudding and accompaniments. They’ll even show you how to ice it to perfection!

Next is Christmas Without Tears. An easy to follow ‘how-to’ that will show you how to cook a Christmas Dinner your guests will talk about for years to come. From a succulent turkey and stuffing to the perfect roasties and cranberry sauce, you’ll discover how to prepare the meal of the year in style and will pick up lots of tips and tricks along the way.

Last, but not least, is our Christmas Leftovers demonstration. Pour yourself a glass full and watch how Marko and Annie breathe life back into leftover turkey and prepare Bubble & Squeak the right way.

All recipes will be provided so you’ll be able to use them time and time again!

Brilliant advanced preparation for these classics. Easy to follow directions on our Zoom Interactive hands on session with Marko and Annie David from The Cooking Experience.  We provide in advance recipes and preparation instructions and shopping list to help you get ready. This will be a fun, festive affair so get your £1 coins ready for the Xmas Pudding, or is that too generous? We also have Terri from Erivica Cakes in Hadleigh, Suffolk to give you some hints and tips for making and icing your Xmas cake. She will bring a fruit cake made partly with Xmas Mincemeat as well as the usual ingredients. Mincemeat enables you to make a Christmas Cake later than usual as it accelerates the mellowing process as does extra rum or brandy!! To add that little extra to make it special, Annie will demonstrate how to make a fantastic Brandy Butter.



“Ways with leftover turkey”. Not another curry, please!! We will show you three ways to use up that lovely festive meat. Easy to follow recipes bearing in mind the over-rich food on the day! Marko’s mum would do 4 days following Xmas day using up every bit of the turkey. Day 4 was rissoles made from minced turkey. We had all had enough by then! You will love this session as it will put you in a good place for those meals after the big day! Marko will talk about other things you can prepare and freeze. Marko will cook Devilled Turkey and Turkey with mushrooms in a sherry and cream sauce. He will also make a lovely fun packed Turkey Sandwich and for those leftover vegetables, Marko will do Bubble and Squeak, delicious with cold turkey straight out of the pan!



A brilliant guide to the big meal with a comprehensive Factsheet written by Marko after a big family Xmas day many years ago when Marko and Annie did the whole meal while the other 15 people including grunting teenagers quaffed bubbly and scoffed smoked salmon canapes. No-one remembered to look after the cooks!! We will do perfect roast potatoes in goose fat, delicious sausage and chestnut stuffing, Cranberry Sauce, and gravy from the turkey crown, caramelised root vegetables and talk turkey!! We will roast a turkey crown slowly on a bed of vegetables with a port gravy and even show you how to make a perfectly chocolatey roulade which can be prepped beforehand.

All recipes for all three sessions will be sent to you by email, along with Marko’s Christmas Lunch Factsheet.

You won’t find a pair more passionate about food. This double act’s lighthearted workshops are tonnes of fun and full of useful information that you can apply to your very own Christmas Day Extravaganza.

While you’ll get helpful instructions supplied for each of the courses, the interactive Stir Up session is hands-on. This means you’ll get the chance to cook along with Marko and Annie from The Cooking Experience, live on Zoom!

The demonstrations, on the other hand, give you the chance to kick back, relax and watch the experts at work! These are perfect for getting lots of ideas for your festive feasts.
